POSITION OBJECTIVE:


The primary responsibility of the VP of Sales is to think for and own the overall growth strategy for FireSeeds. This individual will report to the CEO, Cord Sachs, and serve on the executive leadership team. The ideal candidate is able to develop the right mix of strategies to build a pipeline of new clients that grows revenue, leveraging a consultative, solution-focused philosophy to sales. You will be building the team, strategy, processes, and systems in order to drive revenue and aggressively grow a mature business that is prepared to scale.


We are seeking a high-performing business leader with 8 - 10 years of experience in sales. Ideal candidates should have a documented track record of generating new business in B2B sales, preferably within a professional services organization. Significant experience calling on lower-to-middle market C-Suite executives is a must. We are seeking to find someone that’s not only going to execute the job well, but aligns with our Vision, Mission and Values.


POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Deliver proposals with strategic recommendations to prospects in a manner that shows FireSeeds value and unique service offering
  • Act as the lead ambassador for FireSeeds growth everywhere you go
  • Plan and own event strategy such as conferences, customer events, etc.
  • Grow the sales pipeline through outbound efforts and manage the full cycle sales process, monitor sales metrics, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Conduct market research to gain insights into the target audience's needs, preferences, habits, interests, and other relevant factors, enabling the creation of go-to-market strategies for focused industry verticals
  • Oversee a future marketing team and develop strategies to increase inbound lead generation
  • Own and drive outbound revenue growth through scalable systems and processes
  • Serve on the FireSeeds leadership team which includes the CEO, VP of OPS, and Recruiting Directors to align sales strategy with overall business objectives
  • Build and lead the FireSeeds sales team to scale with the company’s growth
  • Consistently close deals and partnerships on a monthly basis to help FireSeeds hit overall revenue targets
  • Work alongside Recruiting Directors to vet new client partnerships and transition new accounts to recruiting teams
  • Play a key role in executing internal quarterly offsites with the FireSeeds team to keep objectives aligned between sales and operations


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:


  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, managing key client accounts, and consistently hitting sales targets
  • Prior experience building long term relationships driving client retention and referrals
  • Consultative sales background with significant experience understanding clients’ pain points and consulting around those areas
  • Full-cycle sales experience
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably in a similar professional services environment (recruiting, marketing, legal, accounting, etc.); experience in a retained search environment is a huge plus
  • Experience leading and managing a sales team, providing leadership and guidance to drive their success
  • National sales background with experience selling inside and outside local markets
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Business Degree preferred or extensive relevant business and sales experience
  • Direct or indirect experience building a sales organization
  • Built processes and systems leveraging technology to scale a sales organization to a national level leveraging tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Zoom etc.
