We are looking for a passionate Vice President of Operations to join our executive team. You will report directly to the COO and lead our daily operations To be successful in this role, you need to be transparent, flexible, have a high EQ, and a solid fundamental understanding of the finance industry and taxation.


You should be results-driven, focusing on operational efficiency and profit margin while maintaining an expert level understanding of how the organization is doing as a whole. Job Summary


The Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.


Leadership Responsibilities"


  • Coordinates with the Recruiting Department to hire quality talent.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.


Duties/Responsibilities


  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Establishes and administers the department’s budget.
  • Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
  • Establish effective management techniques and a robust reporting system that promotes employee engagement, accountability, and data-driven decision-making, enabling strategic planning and monitoring of overall organizational performance.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all key processes within the organization, ensuring consistent execution, adherence to best practices, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency specific to the ERC tax credit processing business.
  • Continuously optimize and streamline our ERC tax credit processing procedures, making use of technology and automation where possible, to improve both internal and external operational efficiency and client satisfaction.


Required Skills/Abilities


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • MBA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other industry-related field required.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
  • 15 years of leadership in finance industry including three (3) years in upper management required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
