Job Description

Summary The VP of Human Resources is a member of the executive team and is responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's mission, goals, and values.

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with the organization's business objectives


Requirements and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in HR leadership roles in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • 5% Travel
  • Open and transparent communication skills
  • Excellent change management skills
  • Expertise in talent acquisition and employee retention strategies
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
  • Superior crisis management competency with the ability to act decisively and responsibly in times of crisis or emergencies
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to promote cross-functional teamwork
  • Experience developing and implementing HR strategies
