Job Description

IRONSCALES is looking for a VP of Human Resources to lead and provide overall direction and guidance to the HR department. We are looking for a trusted advisor and business partner to the company's senior leaders, functioning as the expert on people and organizational issues, and providing guidance on managing complex employee relations matters.


About the role:


As the VP of Human Resources, you will foster and maintain a world-class hybrid work environment and lead all of the HR talent management and development functions including HR strategies, policies, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, recruiting and employment, employee relations, HR systems, training, and planning. The VP of HR reports to the CEO. You will also:


  1. Integrate and nurture the culture across global offices, establishing the organization as “one team”
  2. Lead global staff development activities for all employees with a focus on strengthening employee engagement
  3. Manage a dynamic and diverse global HR team, fostering collaboration, cultivating talent, and driving excellence in people operations
  4. Implement and maintain standardized processes for performance reviews and salary review
  5. Develop and enhance professional development programs for individual employees and management
  6. Manage the effectiveness and continuous improvement of human capital operations and re-engineer processes and systems to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
  7. Partner with benefit providers and advisors to manage ongoing benefit administration (health, workers comp, 401k, disability)
  8. Manage legal and compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
  9. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, resolve employee relations issues and effectively liaise with legal counsel as needed
  10. Prepare and leverage analytics to support strategic decision-making


About you:


You are professional, discrete, objective, and fair when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You have an ability to deal with change, conflict, and ambiguity with a focus on positive outcomes and resolutions. You are a change agent with the ability to move key strategic initiatives forward, influence stakeholders, and use data to inform your decisions. You are a leader of yourself, your team, and the company. You don’t have to check all the boxes, but these are some of the skills and experiences we think are important for this role:


  1. Experience leading HR teams and broader leadership teams
  2. Demonstrated ability in leveraging KPIs to drive organizational success and proven strategic planning acumen
  3. History of successfully managing human resource teams across geographies (preferably in Israel and the UK)
  4. Knowledgeable about US and Israeli labor law or a demonstrated ability to leverage subject matter experts, common sense and risk management to enable decision making for US and Israel labor considerations
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives at once and identify opportunities for process improvement
  6. Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and ability to inform and influence stakeholders
  7. Demonstrated capability in analyzing and designing requirements for automation and tools for HR applications, evaluation and proposal of tools and managing the change globally
  8. 7+ years of experience in human resources at a management level; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  9. 2+ years’ leading a human resources team for a company with more than 150 employees spanning multiple geographies
  10. Previous experience at a fast-growing software organization strongly preferred
