What the VP of Finance will do:

• Conduct risk management and recommend cost reduction strategies.
• The responsibilities of the VP of Finance includes overseeing all financial activities including managing financial tasks and ensuring that finances are used beneficially.
• Interpret and communicate the latest financial reports to the wider business
• Build a successful, high-functioning finance team
• Oversee purchasing and procurement at a high level regarding financials
• Handle forecasting financial results and oversee the budgets.
• Build robust internal financial and operational processes
• Install efficient technology and tools to help the finance team do its best work

What the company needs in a VP of Finance :

• CPA background not required but a PLUS
• Experience working in a fast past startup environment would be preferred
• Knowledge of accounting software required
• Solid understanding and experience in financial management and accounting
• Experience leading a small finance team
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
• Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and experience in modeling financial strategies
• Proven experience as a head of finance or a similar position required
• The VP of Finance should have at least 8 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• US citizenship required
