Position Overview:

As the Vice President of Finance and Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial strategy and operational performance of our multi-state exterior remodeling company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts, as well as managing the day-to-day operations to ensure seamless business processes. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning it with organizational goals and objectives.

- Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes, including forecasting, cash flow management, and risk assessment.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing accurate and timely reports to the executive team and stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

2. Operational Excellence:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness across various departments.

- Implement and improve operational processes, systems, and controls to enhance productivity and quality.

- Collaborate with department heads to streamline workflows, standardize procedures, and identify areas for improvement.

- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement.

3. Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing finance and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting their growth and ensuring their alignment with company goals.

- Foster effective cross-functional communication and collaboration between finance, operations, and other departments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field;

- Proven experience as a Vice President of Finance or similar leadership role in a multi-state company, preferably in the construction or remodeling industry.

- Strong knowledge and experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

-Expert excel skills required.

- Proficiency in using financial software, such as QuickBooks, and experience with Leap software would be highly advantageous.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
