Job Description
Banking Center Services (BCS) is a critically important organization within Consumer & Community Banking. BCS ensures operational success for the ATM channel, branches, and other products and services.


The Supplier Management group is a multi-functional operational business unit that leverages state-of-the-art monitoring tools, analytics, and industry-leading methods to detect problems and resolve them as quickly as possible. The Supplier Management Group relies on various Hardware Suppliers to maintain and service our ATM and Teller Cash Recyclers (TCR) fleet.


The Supplier Management team is responsible for overseeing the ATMs, Teller Cash Recyclers (TCR) and Currency Counter maintenance, ensuring all aspects of servicing are optimized to achieve best-in-class performance and customer experiences as defined within contractual agreement. The team contracts with external suppliers to service more than 16,000 ATMs, 3,800 TCRs and 10,000 Currency Counters in the Chase fleet.


In addition, the team also manages the Sort, Store and Destruction (SSD) process for all retail deposits, branch, and ATMs through United Parcel Service (UPS), which includes all Paper Retrieval Requests (check images) in support of Teller Reconciliation Services, ATM Claims & Exceptions and Virtual Processing Center.


This position will support the supplier management / performance of Currency Counters and ATMs.


Job Responsibilities


  • Budget management, including invoice processing and cost avoidance (following contract terms)
  • Process improvement: continued optimization to achieve best in class service while reducing device downtime for improved customer experience
  • Create and execute presentations supporting supplier performance (weekly) and business reviews (quarterly), including executive presentations
  • Maintaining a positive relationship with each supplier, help suppliers achieve best in class service
  • Build and manage external third party relationships with suppliers, including industry interaction and build and foster internal relationships with multiple cross impacted partners supporting suppliers' performance
  • Analyze data to determine performance trends, including software defects and/or operational issues (i.e., resources, supply chain logistics, etc.) impacting suppliers' performance
  • Review data to ensure accurate monitoring and measurement of supplier's performance based on contractual obligations


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills


  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment; able to take direction while collaborating with management, peers, and cross impacted partners
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written - including facilitation skills and Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Issue resolution and attention to detail with Strong organizational skills; good at multi-tasking and following up
  • Self-starter, flexible and willing to stretch for business needs, Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, able to pivot as business needs / priorities change

  • Prior experience with managing external third party suppliers; holding them accountable to contract terms / service level agreements and consequences
