Vc Partner, Life Sciences

This is a confidential search. Our client potentially is looking for a Venture Partner.

In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in the life sciences, biotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence sectors. You will be responsible for managing the full investment cycle, from developing new investment strategies to working with portfolio companies to ensure their continued growth and profitability. You will work closely with other partners and investors of the fund and will be responsible for building and managing a strong pipeline of investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and identify new investment opportunities in life sciences, biotech, and Artificial Intelligence sector

- Evaluate the potential of investment opportunities to ensure they align with the fund's overall strategy

- Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial, technical, and market research

- Work with portfolio companies to evaluate their growth potential, develop metrics for success, and ensure they are on track to achieve their goals

- Represent the fund in key industry events and build relationships with industry professionals

- Maintain a strong network within the life science and AI industry, continuously expanding your expertise and knowledge

- Assist portfolio companies in raising funding, achieving corporate partnerships, and developing their exit strategies

- Assist in fund management and investor relations, including fundraising and reporting

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in a relevant field, such as Life sciences or AI

- At least 10+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields

- Proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and closing investments in life sciences and AI sectors

- Strong understanding of the life sciences and AI industry, trends, and emerging technologies.

- Ability to evaluate and interpret technical data and market research to make investment decisions.

- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Experience in fundraising and investor relations is a plus
