JOB MISSION:
The UI/UX developer will be a part of the Global UX Team, responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for newbalance.com. The UI/UX developer must be highly collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for implementing site experiments and helping the team iterate and continually improve the user experience. They will be part of a team and organization that moves quickly, challenges each other, and always keeps the customer at the center of our decisions.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Collaborate with our analysts and designer to create the optimal testing setup.
- Providing data quality checks and sign offs during the deployment process, working closely with our QA stakeholders to implement any fixes
- Help the global & regional teams to better utilize their testing & personalization toolsets
- Create a consistent, intuitive user experience across multiple platforms and brands
- Build valuable partnerships, collaborate with cross-departmental teams to research, and develop technical enhancements
- Develop code using industry best practices, while using their knowledge of the tools to provide thoughtful recommendations, accelerating the growth
- Track emerging trends in the digital interface landscape, recommending new opportunities to ensure continuous improvement
- Create and maintain A/B tests in JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Collaborating internally to ensure that deliverable schedules are met, and clear expectations are set with client stakeholders
- Participate in ideation, wire framing, prototyping, storytelling, concept visualization and problem-solving skills to create effective user solutions
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Open minded and able to discuss ideas to come to a collaborative conclusion.
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of professional experience with front-end development, using the latest standards of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with testing and personalization tools including but not limited to: Optimizely
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms and audiences
- Experience in e-commerce and Responsive Development: Mobile, Tablet & Desktop experience required
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset able to assess possibilities

Flexible Work Schedule
