Ux Designer Jobs

Onward Search needs a UX Designer for a utility company to join their team for a long-term contract opportunity! This role is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC.

UX Designer Responsibilities:

• Create human-centered designs by gathering customer needs, designing graphic elements and building delightful user experiences.
• Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with business partners and software engineers and adjusting designs based on user feedback
• Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Developing both low and high fidelity UI mockups and prototypes
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Designing graphic UI elements
• Creating process flows for digital solutions

UX Designer Qualifications:

• Must have a solid understanding of digital design patterns, user interface best practices and be competent in the tools of the trade.
• Bachelor's Degree in Design, IT, or related fields (UX Design, Graphics Design, Associates in Human Ctr Design, etc).
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant role within UX.
