Ux Design Researcher Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Provide UX research insights to inform ICG UX Figma design system and related partners.

• Lead research efforts from scoping to reporting that could encompass user interviews, usability and concept tests and surveys, ensuring research is planned to produce reliable and actionable insights to inform the design system and various product and design teams.

• Create clear research artifacts and reports.

• Provide guidance and rigor around research methodologies, reports, artifacts, and best practices, aligning with ICG UX Research standards.

• Collaborate with quantitative UX research to define relevant metrics for benchmarking design strategy and unification goals and ongoing measurement of journeys and user experiences.

• Bring innovative approaches and creative thinking to scoping primary research with populations that may be challenging to recruit.

• Partner across the Institutional Client Group organization where design system standards and research need to be linked and aligned.

Your education and experience include:

• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience crafting and leading UX research with design, product, and engineering teams and partners.

• Strong experience working with and researching design systemsand Figma

• Scoping, planning, and executing a wide range of research approaches such as:

• User and stakeholder interviews

• Surveys with a strong ability to craft questions with quantitative rigor

• Usabilitytesting: moderated/unmoderated

• Tree-testing

• Card sorting

• Benchmarking

• Heuristic reviews and best practices

• a/b testing a plus

• Confidently use remote collaboration tools like Figma, Mural, or Miroto facilitate research activities and workshops remotely

• Crafting and conducting research tests in platforms like User Zoom

• Defining and measuring research, business, and other KPI relevant to showing the performance and success of an experience.

• Using insights repositories such as EnjoyHQ

• Using in product feedback platforms such as Qualtrics, Medallia, Glassbox

• Strong oral and written presentation skills, including data visualization

• Accessibility research or design experience useful

• Financial services industry experience preferred

• Bachelor's/University degree
