Job Summary: We are looking for an Automotive Sales Manager to lead and motivate our salespeople and promote and encouraging strategies to sell cars and other vehicles. The successful candidate will also be proficient dept at organizing schedules, training, interviewing, hiring, and setting goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Set sales goals and budgets, track progress, and manage team to achieve and exceed those targets
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by:
  • Appraise, acquire, and manage reconditioning of used vehicles for resale
  • Coach and train salespeople on best practices for closing deals and provide guidance to improve sales performance
  • Asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Assist in development of advertising campaigns and other promotions
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of automotive salespeople
  • Describing relevant optional equipment/products
  • Explaining and presenting vehicle performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
  • Overcome customer objections, assist team with closing sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
Requirements:
  • Leadership skills with a passion for training fellow employees
  • Quality customer service, communication, computer and basic math skills
  • Professional and team-oriented attitude is a must
  • Previous dealership and management experience a must
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
  • Some Saturday’s required
  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing
  • Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales
