Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Manages the resolution of any/all Dental Operations issues through logical data analysis. Determines needed solutions that fit dental needs and can be leveraged across an assigned region with direction from the Dental Leadership.
Follows up with stakeholders to obtain information on unresolved Dental issues. Tracking of all activities tracking to completion of preset yearly targets.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams regarding support for Dental solutions. Identifies the need for development, definition, and implementation of Dental training programs, including training initiated internally or by external stakeholders.
Ensure meeting appropriate ROI preset for all initiatives and training in collaboration with the dental team.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
Support all recruiting activities deemed necessary by Walmart Dental Leadership.
Supports the lead Dental executive responsible for clinical and business performance of the service line within Walmart Health & Wellness in all aspects of clinical, business and initiatives. Develop systems to increase efficiency of practice for clinical, clinical operations and business productivity for all lines of the Dental Business with direction from the Walmart Dental Leadership. Drive the financial performance of the Dental service line by achieving volume targets, service mix goals, production goals and procedure mix initiatives as set by the Walmart Dental Leadership.
Develops scalable leadership structure for the Dental service line to ensure effective support as the business grows.
Promotes a supportive work environment for all clinical and operational team members.
Provides overall solutions by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develop systems in development and promotion of knowledge of team members in growth of team members' careers and growth of the Walmart Dental Business.
Helps resolve conflicts within the provider organization. Collaborates closely with clinical operations team members to maximize space, identify technology and equipment needs, and identify market needs and site selection for the Dental service line. Collaborates closely with other clinical and operational leadership to identify opportunities for integrated care.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, social science, communications, or related area and 4 years' experience in dental operations management or related area.
Option 2: 8 years' experience in dental operations management or related area.
