Title: URBN Applications Analyst, Order Management Systems

Reports to: Senior Manager, Technology

Overview: Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Applications Analyst who is a resource for the Order Management System Support Team. This person provides front line support, analysis and troubleshooting expertise when functional or technical issues are reported by our business partners. The analyst should enjoy proactively investigating issues impacting the business to propose the best solution to their peers. This role is technology and business facing and thus requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Understand full order lifecycle and business processes in a Direct-to-Consumer retail environment
• Point of contact for business, operational and Contact Center partners for order and inventory related issues they are facing. Provide the first level of triage while partnering with team members as well as others in technology to explain the impact and solution
• Be able to spot trends, assess and identify issues that need to be escalated to more senior team members
• Monitor and manage various system exceptions which may be impacting the business
• Document and organize your workflows to find opportunities for improvement

Job Skills:

• Can effectively communicate with upper-level management and external customers in both a written and verbal manner
• Self-motivated with a desire to seek answers to questions and solutions to problems without direction from others
• Ability to prioritize work effectively and handle multiple competing demands
• Familiarity with the ecommerce order life cycle or prior retail experience a plus
• Knowledge and experience with SQL a plus
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speed

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
