Ultrasound Technician Rd Ob Crd Vas

The Registered Ultrasound Technologist performs various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including Transthoracic echo, stress (exercise and pharmacological) echo, assistance in transesophageal echo and assistance in echo guided invasive procedures.

Responsibilities include preparation of preliminary reports, study transmittal and coverage of various outpatient satellite sites, and other Hospital locations.

Please note: The hours for this position are from 8:00am-4:30pm.

Education/skills required:

• At least one year of clinical echocardiography experience preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS OR RDCS) required
• Completion of CAAHEP certified cardiovascular sonography program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Must be BLS certified.
