Ui/Ux Designer Jobs

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and talented UI/UX Designer for an unpaid intern position. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills in the field of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. You will work closely with our development team, assisting in the creation and improvement of intuitive and visually appealing digital products. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your portfolio and gain valuable industry knowledge.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development of our design system, including creating components and workflows that align with our brands and documentation around theme
2. Collaborate with back-end and front-end teams to ensure that our design system is consistent across all touchpoints, from our website to our mobile apps
3. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on designs created by other members of the Design System Team
4. Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
5. Help establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
6. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas and concepts.
7. Assist in the creation of UI assets, including icons, illustrations, and graphics.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital products' user experience.

Qualifications:

1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program UX, Interaction Design, Web Design or a related field
2. Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
3. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
4. Passionate about learning design systems and improving the user experience
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Opportunity to work with experienced Product Teams and learn about design systems
7. A portfolio showcasing your design work and demonstrating your understanding of UI/UX design principles (including personal projects or academic assignments).
