Job Description

Are you a talented, experienced UX Designer seeking temporary or project-based opportunities to showcase your skills? Onward Search has an ongoing need for UX Designers to support our client's UX projects and contribute to their digital initiatives' success.


Our clients seek UX Designers who can collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business goals, and brand requirements. It also can shape the information architecture, create wireframes and prototypes, and conduct user testing to refine and validate designs.


Project opportunities with our clients can vary in length of the assignment, working on a hybrid basis.


As a UX Designer you’ll:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of UX designs
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate design solutions effectively
  • Create user-centric designs that align with our brand guidelines and business objectives
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize UX requirements


Skills & Experience needed:

  • Solid understanding of information architecture and interaction design principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your professional UX design projects across various industries
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
