Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD/BIM Operator to join our team! In this role you will get to perform basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments requiring a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques. Under the general direction of a higher-level Designer/Drafter, the incumbent at this level typically takes engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings. Assignments are designed to develop a practical knowledge of equipment, facilities, and systems, and their interrelationships within a particular engineering discipline.

• Responsible for the proper documentation, storage and safekeeping of all drawings hard copy and soft copy.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Develop and design project presentations.
• Responsible for the design of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Prepare/draft/update new and existing drawings and layouts as per engineers, client ideas, vision and requirements.
• Produce perspective drawings. Prepare graphical presentations and rendering.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Must have experience in producing 2D & 3D drawings including BIM / Revit Capabilities.
• Ability to interpret all types of drawings, layouts, etc.
• Excellent drafting skills and abilities with all types of drawings (Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection).
• 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent)
• Proficient use of advanced level Microsoft Office applications.
• 2 - 5+ years of experience as CAD Designer for construction type of projects
• Experience with AutoCAD Drafting (latest version) / and BIM.

Salary Range:

$32.88 - $68.56
