Apply now and join our agency as a UI/UX designer. A UI Designer has a focused education and already some years of experience in UI /UX design - ideally in the automotive industry. He is eager to find out about current and emerging trends and is constantly testing boundaries. Technology is never holding him back from visualizing his ideas - he is open to any kind of new software, method and tool and will ask colleagues for specific help, when necessary. He likes prototyping and bringing his ideas to life.

• Salary Range: 80K to 120K based on qualifications, skills, and experience

Responsibilities

• Constant and active learning
• Exploration of visual behavior (motion and transitions)
• Contributing and supporting the team in hands-on project work.
• Sketching, visualizing and prototyping concepts
• Gaining leadership experience by being responsible for leading Juniors or Trainees and interns with specific tasks, or parts of projects (with mentorship of more senior staff)
• Effectively estimate level of effort
• Active learning and adapting expertise from seniors
• Visual explorations by developing a diversity of styles and their details in high quality
• Prioritize your work based on complexity and value
• Presenting your work to clients (mostly peer level)
• Asset production and preparing deliverables
• Becoming an expert and representing thought leadership topic as assigned
• Visualizing various features and functions on multiple platforms
• Guidance for Trainees and Juniors
• Taking over responsibility for executing small projects or parts of bigger projects (with mentorship of more senior staff)
• Convey and present design concepts clearly and concisely

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of design principles and terminology of user interface design
• Solid software skills (Sketch, Adobe CC Suite, Keynote, Microsoft Office, Prototyping tools)
• Capability of pixel perfectness as well as visual exploration and interest in continuous improvement of ideas and outputs
• Strong skills with color, proportion, layouts and details
• Conceptual and analytical thinking for a range of communication design needs
• Degree in design or comparable vocational training /
• Team player personality
• Experience in designing interfaces for different platforms
• Willing to travel
• Knowledge of design fundamentals, UI design heuristics
• Structured and tactical way of working on multiple projects in parallel
• Basic knowledge of 3D (e.g. Cinema 4D) and/or motion design (e.g. After Effects, Flinto or Principle)
