Position Overview:

Supports Treasury activities related to debt capital management and/or investment analysis, including reporting and audits. Assists in the issuances of debt, and compliance with bond and debt covenants. Prepares calculations required for issuance of debt and the addition of members to obligated group. Records investments, updates and maintains investment portfolio, and provides investment analysis. Assists with annual audit, bond holder mailings, and preparation of schedules for bond offering statements.
This is a work from home opportunity. Must live in California.

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

• Bachelor's: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent education/experience

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Demonstrates initiative in providing feedback/input to improve workflow/processes.
• Ability to communicate through verbal and written means.
• Knowledge of investment vehicles/securities, including purchase and sale of investments.
• Ability to analyze financial data and information, and translate into reports and presentations for appropriate audience.
• Demonstrates respect for cultural and linguistic differences and promotes an inclusive work environment.
• Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of cash, debt and/or investment management principles, practices and procedures.
• Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
• Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely, and to meet strict timelines.
• Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
• Ability to read, comprehend, interpret and apply policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory and legal requirements.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of accounting and/or finance operations.
• Ability to maintain and work discreetly with confidential information.
• Organization skills and attention to details.

Pay Range: $37.86 - $56.79 / hr

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
