Treasury Analyst Jobs

Job Summary

Purdue University and its Treasury department are looking for someone that is a team player who can work independently with the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data as well as University policies and procedures to become its next Treasury Analyst. As a Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for the ongoing operations of several complex data models. Will engage with banking partners and University departments as the liaison between campuses/schools/departments, the bank, and The Office of Treasury Operations. Utilize knowledge of complex bank systems and practices to read/interpret data and resolve various banking issues. Serve as an Administrator for Purdue University, Purdue Global, PARI, and PII banking systems. Responsible for tracking interest income on the University’s cash pool and the distribution of income.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related area
• Excellent communication (oral & written) and customer service skills
• 2 years of experience in banking or finance
• Ability to plan, problem-solve, organize, and manage projects.
• Personal computer and related software skills, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, data query, Internet, etc.
• Must possess a learning orientation to changing technology influencing business processes.
• Ability to influence and build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.

Preferred:

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
• Knowledge of banking and treasury management
• Master’s degree and banking or treasury management experience
