About Our Client
Join a Bessemer-based General Contractor and Management firm that offers commercial construction services. The services provided span into the commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets. Through deliverance of complex and sophisticated builds in their focus market they have been able to establish a footprint that focuses on their clients needs. We are looking for a self starter who is hungry to learn and grow within the construction industry because of the strategic and aggressive growth plan that has been laid for the next four to five years.

• Oversee Subcontractors and full construction project on a daily bases
• Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
• Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project
• Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
• Run/manage project from start to finish
• Communicate well with owners as well as subcontractors, be the face of the organization

The Successful Applicant

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Healthcare project experience is a massive plus but not required
• 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry
• 75% travel required to projects in Florida, Texas, Georgia
• A problem solving mindset is a must
• Excellent work record
