Job Description

Overview

The Travel Coordinator will book travel including flights, hotels, and rental cars for training consultants around the country. Support travelers with any urgent needs while traveling. Assist with booking staff travel and serve as a backup for booking travel for other programs. Provide after-hours travel assistance if needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys multi-tasking and task ownership, has a positive attitude, enjoys helping people, and must display flexibility and confidence in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the program timeline and checklist to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the program’s satisfaction
  • Travel Coordinator must have experience with Microsoft Office products and the ability to toggle between multiple online platforms
  • Book flights, make hotel and rental car reservations
  • Maintain travel log spreadsheets
  • Submit hotel credit card authorization forms and collect hotel receipts
  • When communicating with travelers, Travel Coordinators should have a consultative, proactive approach that anticipates each traveler’s needs
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Provide an exceptional, effortless, and worry-free travel experience for each traveler

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate evening hours, if needed, in case trainer travel issues arise
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solution-focused, ability to work both independently and within an autonomous team environment
  • Technically able and comfortable using computer applications and personal devices; proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to articulate information as needed
