Transportation Project Manager Jobs

We are actively seeking a highly talented Transportation Project Manager for immediate employment.The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in roadway design and familiarity with the INDOT process of roadway plan and specifications development.The applicant must be able to work within a team and show willingness to accept responsibility and ownership of new design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design INDOT and other related transportation roadway projects.
• Flexibility to work with other departments if needed.
• Works well independently or with a team with minimal supervision.
• Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Transportation Engineering Manager.
• Incorporate AutoCAD Civil 3D standards into design process.
• Will need to be well organized and able to provide project status updates regularly.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with project stakeholders as needed with concerns to the project requirements.
• Understand and adapt work efficiency to best meet project budgets and goals.
• Ability to work overtime, when needed to meet project deadlines.
• Understand process work flows from project start to finish.

Qualifications

• INDOT roadway design experience – preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering - required
• 5+ years of experience in roadway design – preferred
• Registered PE – preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience - required
