We are excited to offer full-time remote or hybrid opportunities for highly skilled Transformation Managers in our thriving Healthcare Consulting Practice. The ideal candidate(s) will have strong healthcare finance and/or operations experience with the desire to help our clients drive change through identification, analysis and implementation of strategic change initiatives.
Direct healthcare or consulting experience within the acute or post-acute setting is required for this position. This position requires the ability to engage, strategize and collaborate with executive stakeholders on a recurring basis. This is NOT a technology-based position.
About The Job
The Healthcare Consulting Transformation Manager role is responsible for leading client service engagements with the objective of driving financial and operational improvements. This includes leading and managing a team of Freed Maxick resources while collaborating with all levels of client management to implement transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Ability and willingness to supplement and support business analysts at times with data manipulation and analysis
- Prepare and present engagement reporting deliverables internally and to client leaders. This includes the ability to prepare clear and concise PowerPoint materials which support executive level and manager level presentations
- Ability to travel to client locations based on needs and work effectively in a virtual/remote setting
- Effectively communicate status of programs and projects to both internal and external stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, to gain buy in and support for change initiatives
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market challenges and emerging technologies that could impact the organization’s performance.
- Leads a team of internal and/or external client subject matter experts, analysts and project managers to identify, analyze, plan and implement change initiatives to improve business processes, operations, and overall performance
- Monitor and measure the impact of changes and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success
- The ability to identify, manage and escalate project issues and risks to engagement leaders regarding scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
- Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis
- Provide coaching, training, and support to individuals and teams involved in changes to ensure successful adoption and implementation
- Responsible for all aspects of client engagement management including planning, resource oversight, deliverable execution and client relationship management
- Display solid understanding of the client’s business strategies and apply knowledge to all project activities
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Relevant professional certification a plus (i.e. CPA, Lean Six Sigma or Project Management Professional (PMP))
- Experience in an acute or post-acute healthcare leadership role including, but not limited to operational, financial, clinical department management or physician practice operations management
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Organizational Development or related field with 5+ years of professional experience in a healthcare finance / operations or consulting role
- Proficient with Project Management Tools (i.e. MS Project, SmartSheets)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex business issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing environment
- Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Healthcare Administration preferred but not required
- Experience using data analytics to make informed decision
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Detail and big picture oriented
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders
