We are currently seeking a new Medical Transcriptionist to join our SkinPath Solutions team in Symrna, Georgia! SkinPath Solutions, an affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, is a fast pace, high volume Dermatolopathology laboratory, specializing in the diagnosis of skin, hair, and nail disorders. The highly skilled and experienced technologists provide expert evaluation of the biopsy specimen on state of the art equipment, along with clinical correlation in order to arrive at an accurate diagnosis for the clinical healthcare provider.

SkinPath Solutions is hiring a Medical Transcriptionist, for the day time shift (830A-500P ON SITE) with a positive, can- do attitude, who thrives in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multitask with a constant moving work flow. The ideal candidate will have atleast one year of experience and excellent knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, composition and spelling. This person must be a fast learner, have a high level of attention to detail with minimal to no errors, and thrive in a fast paced, high volume lab environment.

Essential Job Duties and Accountabilities As assigned but not limited to the following

• Producing medical reports and records, patient information, and other administrative data from audio recordings
• Reviewing and editing transcriptions for spelling, grammar, clarity and correct medical terminology
• Communicate effectively with health care personnel and patients about patient information
• In-depth knowledge of medical terms and medical language to correct errors in transcripts
• Maintaining medical files and databases for various records such as medical histories and lab results
• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe medical information by typing alteast 60 wpm.

Experience & Education

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of medical terminology (Required)
• Must have precise attention to detail and accuracy with little to no errors.
• Ability to type atleast 60 words per minute (Required)
• Must have atleast 1 year of previous medical transcribing experience. (Required)
