About this Position:
The Training Specialist will partner with Plants and Business Units to supply high quality training to our company. Ensure our associate population is onboarded successfully. Execute our learning & development strategies and programs to advance human development through the delivery of integrated HR Systems and Services.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead facilitation process for exempt new hire orientation. Support production associate new hire orientation
  • Manage cost, invoices for training budget as needed
  • Support measurement and tracking of training effectiveness
  • Coordinate, ensure facilitation & training delivery of various training content across HDMA
  • Liaison between the training group and our associate population
  • Support evaluation of individual and organizational development needs
  • Maintain company direction for onboarding best practices
  • Coordinate pairing & delivery of mentorship programs
  • Lead and/or assist with projects and activities as assigned by the department
  • Establish and maintain class management processes, inventory & supplies
Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
  • 1 year minimum of HR and/or learning and development experience

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership or other related degree or equivalent years’ experience in HR related field
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Honda Learning Systems (SABA/HLC)
Additional Position Factors:
  • 40% remote work is available
  • Some overtime based on work load
  • Travel less than 20% required / as needed
  • May require travel between plants/locations
  • Open-office environment
