POSITION SUMMARY


The Training Center Coordinator (TCC) works closely with the following departments: Safety and Quality Management, Ground Operations, Flight Operations, Human Resources, and the Clinical Department to monitor and maintain current education & training requirements for all staff. The TCC also coordinates clinical training for clinical staff and external students. The Training Center Coordinator shall exemplify and promote LifeMed's high standards.

Job Duties


  • Provide employees adequate opportunity/notice for required training and alternative options
  • Review and audit 9B for completion of courses, credential filing, and Health Record Events
  • Manage LifeMed's American Heart Association training center
  • Track Compliance and Safety Training with LifeMed HR and Safety Department
  • Ninth Brain system administration
  • Review incident reports submitted and assign to handling manager
  • Maintain education and staff clinical calendars.
  • E. flight forms, TB test verification, N95 certificates)
  • Liaises with management to assure training and educational programs meet corporate goals
  • Compliance reporting for courses completed, credentials, health records
  • Maintain a cost-effective approach to employee training by regularly evaluating program options
  • Track and report education time to ensure that employees are paid accurately
  • Maintain LifeMed Training matrix and employee training records in Ninth Brain database and Master Education Record
  • Serve as a resource for Instructors as well as employees
  • Administer the use of 9Brain and serve as company contact
  • In conjunction with the Clinical Educator, the TCC will coordinate and implement LifeMed's clinical training program
  • Implements policies and procedures related to LifeMed's training and educational program
  • Create and manage documents on 9Brain
  • Assign HSET courses
  • Train and create supporting materials on the use of 9Brain
  • Prepare training materials, handouts, documents, and equipment for internal and external educational courses
  • Assist Clinical Educator in managing LifeMed's CE program
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for employees coming to Anchorage for training

  • Contact 9Brain on behalf of LifeMed Alaska for improvement suggestions
  • Assist in maximizing utility of 9Brain throughout the company
  • Customer service specialist for staff and other duties as assigned.


Requirements


ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS


(Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience)


Education: High School Diploma is required. Some college highly desired. EMT/Paramedic training a plus.


Experience: Minimum two years' experience managing administrative processes that require a high degree of organization, tracking and reporting, and follow-through to ensure that objectives are met. Experience in a training environment as an instructor, scheduler or manager desired.


Other Qualifications: Possesses skills and knowledge in the following areas: principles of organization, resource management, and customer service. Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Detail orientation is required. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality of employee information and sensitive business information. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals, and government regulations. Ability to create engaging materials and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and vendors. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and apply them to the situation.
