Position Overview

The Tower Hand - Entry Level position is ideal for those wanting to establish an exciting career in cellular tower construction and antenna installation and maintenance. No two days or tower sites are ever the same.

Our entry level technicians literally learn the business from the ground up.

Our successful candidate will own responsibility of ensuring our construction site is safe, organized and clean.

Just as importantly, you will be learning from seasoned and qualified tower climbers and foremen to prepare you for the thrilling work on the towers.

Requirements

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred, or ability to attain upon hire
• Must possess a valid and unexpired and unrestricted driver’s license, along with a clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to safely work with hand and power tools in difficult positions and postures
• One year of construction experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted on a routine basis; up to 75 lbs on occasional basis
• Attendance in industry-specific training program strongly preferred
• Ability to perform work in various types of inclement weather and conditions; comfortable working at remote and difficult-to-reach sites
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions; able to follow verbal instructions
• Ability to work at heights and able to bend, reach, twist and kneel routinely throughout the work day
• Able to travel 80%; notice for deployment on emergency services notice is minimal
