About the team
The User Growth team plays a core role in the acquisition, activation, and retention of billions of users/consumers through our globally popular products such as TikTok, Resso, CapCut, Helo. We are building platforms, leveraging data & ML models, and providing end-to-end solutions to power the global growth of ByteDance products. Typical growth projects include paid ads, referrals and EDM.
Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with logistics, product and user growth team in Shanghai, and build essential product functions to ensure shipping subsidy strategies work well in different fulfillment situations.
  • Designing the suitable shipping subsidy strategies and membership for further saving subsidy costs and better user experience. Co-work with local operation and product teams to support strategic shipping subsidies requirements from KA and SMB merchants.
  • Personalizing subsidy strategies and improving AOV according to data analysis.
  • Responsible for shipping subsidy OKR and strategy in USA, co-work with strategy and finance team to calculate the subsidy rate target, then landing policy and adjustments on subsidy strategy like coupon threshold, face value, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Data driven and proactive.
  • Bachelor degree or above with more than 2 years working experience in e-commerce platforms, familiar with other e-commerce platforms and understanding shipping subsidy/logistics/membership strategies.
  • Strong sense of ownership, commitment, responsibility for business objectives.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $100000 - $214400 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
