Therapist Licensed Lcsw/Lmft - Solmar

We are looking for a highly skilled therapist to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of our addiction program including group therapy, individual and family therapy.

The Licensed Therapist is a member of the Neurosciences Institute and the Chemical Dependency, SolMar Retreat, (Hoag Addiction Treatment Center or HATC).The Therapist has a primary responsibility providing clinical care and case management to the patients, their families and/or significant others throughout the course of treatment, and across multiple levels of care.

The primary focus of the Therapist is to provide assessment, treatment planning, referral recommendations, discharge planning, education and direct therapeutic intervention for patients and their families throughout the course of treatment.

Education and Experience

Master’s Degree MSW or MFT from an accredited school.

At least 2 years of experience in addiction/behavioral health environment required.

Experience in addiction/behavioral health environment preferred.

Working knowledge of CARF and/or JCAHO accreditation standards.

Knowledge of the 12-step, Smart Recovery, and other treatment models

Knowledge of Incidental Medical Services/MAT policies and procedures preferred.

Knowledge of HIPPA

Licenses Required

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)

Must maintain standards of licensing board.

Certifications Required

BLS – AHA Basic Life Support required
