Turning Point Community Programs is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to work remotely. This position is eligible for a $3000 sign-on bonus. GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the administrative supervision of the Clinical Training Director, this position is responsible for providing clinical supervision and training to employees/interns in both individual, triadic and group format. Communicate with Clinical Training Director regarding supervisions and needs of the agency.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This is an at-will leadership position within a program. Additionally, this position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff who perform the established duties of the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY)
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that could be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this class
- The Board requires supervisors of associate marriage and family therapists (AMFT) or trainees (MFTT) to complete a minimum of six (6) hours of supervision training or coursework within two (2) years immediately preceding supervision (or within 60 days of commencement of supervision) and every renewal period thereafter.
- NOTE: ASWs are required to obtain 1,700 hours of the total 3,000 of post-master’s degree experience under a LCSW to qualify for licensure.
- NOTE: A trainee is permitted to earn a maximum of 1,300 hours of experience overall prior to the degree being awarded. Up to 750 hours of counseling and supervision are permitted within the 1,300 hour maximum.
- Supervision will consist of individual, triadic and group formats.
- NOTE: All associates are required to have individual or triadic supervision for at least 52 weeks.
- Both the 6-hour and 15-hour courses must be taken through an accredited or approved school, a state agency, or an approved Continuing Education Provider. A course taken through an on-line approved provider will also be accepted. Supervisors are to retain documentation verifying completion of this requirement and must provide it upon written request.
- The supervisor must maintain a current valid California License from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- The Board requires supervisors of ASW’s to complete a minimum of 15 contact hours in supervision training prior to the commencement of supervision.
- Must have held that license for at least two (2) years and practiced psychotherapy or directly supervised trainees, interns, or associates that perform clinical services and/or psychotherapy as part of their clinical practice for at least two years within the last five-year period immediately preceding supervision.
- NOTE: Out of the 52 weeks of individual supervision, ASWs are required to be supervised by an LCSW for 13 of those 52 weeks.

- Be flexible and adaptable in any given situation.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. From 8 to 20 hours per week.
Compensation: $ 42.00 - 44.57 per hour
