Job Description
  • Must be detail oriented strong individual performer.
  • Work with System and application engineers to update test plans and procedures to meet contractual requirements.
  • Must be comfortable working in a virtual team environment when not centrally located.
  • Report defects and assist in their understanding.
  • Execute System Acceptance and Qualification test cases with customer oversight.
  • Host Test Readiness review meetings with the customer.
  • Analyze test results and track testing metrics.
  • Apply lessons learned for ongoing quality improvement.
  • Must be DoD 8570 compliant.
  • Must have “client presence” and the ability to articulate problems and solutions in business relevant terminology.
  • Prepare and present test case reports in a standard contractual report format.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field.
  • Analyze and recommend automated test tools that could potentially add value to any or all of the test types.
  • Develop plans that include test execution tasks, duration, resources, and dependencies.
  • Create and track other testing documentation.
  • 2-4 years of solid testing background with experience in developing testing collateral, executing testing, and managing testing in an Information Technology environment.
  • Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Test Engineer. The candidates must have the ability to work at Peterson Air Force base in Colorado Springs, CO and have Active Secret Clearance.
  • Track limitations (outstanding issues) through resolution.
