Purpose of Position

Provide ground and flight training as an instructor for AVIT 238 in UAS. This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Duties & Responsibilities Provide UAS training in accordance with Training Course Outlines Working with students and student records Reporting and maintenance on sUAS aircraft inventory records Observe UAS flight training activities Working with others to forward UAS department objectives Other duties assigned - (Essential)

Required Competencies

• Ability to conduct student training without the need for direct oversight.
• Interpersonal relationship skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Fundamentals for Instruction FAA completed is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires remote pilot certificate
• Knowledge of UAS operations (both fixed wing and rotorcraft preferred).

Preferred Qualifications
