Position Description

Assist Dr. Jeff Tamplin and his research team with collecting field-based data on wood turtles via radiotelemetry; carry equipment; generate and record data; and access turtles in dense vegetation or submerged in streams. Work schedule varies based on weather conditions, but generally afternoons to early evenings 2 days per week (approximately 15-20 hours per week).

Required Qualifications

Prior experience with wood turtles (Glyptemys insculpta) data collection in Iowa.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree.
