Job Overview
The Temporary Online Programs position is a temporary position in the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) that is designed to allow for the continuation and completion of work previously performed by Graduate Associates who have worked for CNDLS and have recently graduated from Georgetown University. This position will collaborate and work closely with CNDLS professional staff on a variety of learning design and technology-related tasks to support online course design and development for CNDLS programs, services and events. This position will also provide assistance and support for the annual Teaching, Learning, and Innovation Summer Institute (TLISI) hosted by CNDLS.
Work Interactions
This position reports to the Director of Strategy and Operations and works closely and directly with the Assistant Director for Online Programs and Assistant Director of Media Production. This position also interacts with all staff at CNDLS and other staff and faculty across the University, and collaborates regularly with program managers and directors for special programs and initiatives.
Work Mode Designation

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational skills and a customer-oriented work ethic
  • Experience with LMS such as Canvas, Blackboard, edX Studio
  • Experience with any of the following instructional technology tools a plus: web conferencing, polling tool, survey tool, adaptive learning
  • Master’s degree in learning design or learning technology
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based working environment
  • Strong writing and professional interpersonal skills
  • Quick learner with demonstrated fluency to learn new technologies
