Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team
• For RNs working in a per diem/casual on-call status: Must have at least 1 year (2080 hours) of experience in an acute care setting OR internal RNs must successfully complete their probationary period AND must have at least 1 year (2080 hours) of experience in an acute care setting. 3 years (6240) hours of RN work experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program in Nursing. BSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 5 years of hire.
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family members and co-workers
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
• Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques
