Technology Specialist II - Cloud Messaging AD - Digital and Technology Partners - Remote, Req#3001776


This is a remote position.


The Information Technology Specialist II consults with business partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates, translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for IT solutions and integrating architecture.


Responsibilities


  • Advises clients on the consequences of actions; communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. Jointly develops risk assessment of plan with client and provides ongoing communication.
  • Participates and/or leads the review and design concepts for new systems and develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, and reporting.
  • Plans, coordinates, and conducts the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
  • Responsible for all M365 services with a focus on Azure AD, EXO, MSTeams and SharePoint.
  • Participates in the leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system specifications.
  • Provide 3rd level support to ADDS and AADConnect technologies in multi forest hybrid environments.
  • Manage PKI infrastructure and support IT teams with their internal certificate requests.
  • Participates in integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall business goals.
  • Experience in DR procedures and implementation.
  • Collaborate with all IT teams to design, implement and support Azure architecture.
  • Manage Azure SSO and ADFS services.
  • Consults on the identification and definition of solution alternatives within the framework provided by Enterprise Architecture.
  • Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost-effective solutions that support client business processes, functional requirements and resource costs, including evaluation of existing applications and alternative uses of technology.
  • Independently initiates, identifies, and coordinates the analysis of complex client needs in project areas such as new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Provide solid networking troubleshooting methodology to diagnose and help remediate connectivity issues across various datacenters, cloud environments, sites and remotely connected users.


Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred
  • Ten years of related experience, in-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.
  • Six years of related experience in Azure SSO and ADFS services preferred.


Compensation Statement


The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $180,060.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
