Job Description

2nd shift Monday thru Friday from 2pm to 1030pm.

Exciting opportunity to join the site Lab team in Fort Smith, AR as Lab Technician. The role is working on quality system operation and supervision, ensuring quality management system implementation in factories and compliance with MARS QMP & regulatory.

What are we looking for?

  • Problem solving skill and systematic thinking
  • Communication and influencing skill
  • Food science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent BSc/ MSc degree OR equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality management system – FSSC22000, and quality program GMP/ Hygienic design, familiar with legal food safety requirement, food process technology.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Training new/existing associates on lab testing/procedures/record keeping
  • Prepare the daily presentation and preside over daily cutting.
  • Verify that system procedure and regulation requirement compliance in process.
  • Document control/record-keeping
  • Maintaining lab equipment
  • Conduct required daily instrument checks and sample testing
  • Complete any other projects assigned by Manager.
