ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for a full-time mid-level Technical Writer to document products and solutions and work as part of a talented global team. This writer should have proven experience with technologies and be a true user advocate.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Works as part of a Technical Documentation team and follows department guidelines and editorial standards
· Participates in both major product releases and minor releases and updates
· Researches, outlines, writes, and edits new and existing content with minimal supervision including online help, solution guides, and others
· Content management within MadCap Flare
· Analyzes the requirements stated in the product management documents, plan, create and manage related tasks in Azure DevOps, keeping them on track
· Communicates closely with the development teams, Quality Control (QC/QA), product management, User Experience (UX), design and product marketing teams
· Attends meetings and demos, arrange interviews with SMEs, attends virtual meetings with colleagues globally
· Prepares illustrations including screenshots and architecture diagrams

· Experience working as a technical writer for a software/technology company
· Superior writing and communication skills
· Good interpersonal and organizational skills
· Ability to analyze, understand and advocate for the needs and expectations of the target audiences
· Ability to collect information from various sources, analyze your findings, and organize content in a structured, coherent manner
· Ability to translate complicated technical concepts into user-friendly texts
· A team player and self-motivated quick learner, ready to explore new technologies and solutions
Technical and Technical Writing Skills
· Understanding of software concepts
· Strong working knowledge of content development
· Familiarity with style guides
· Solid usability experience
· Experience gleaning information from subject matter experts
Application Skills
· Authoring tool (specifically MadCap Flare)
· Screen capture tools (such as Techsmith Snagit)
· Microsoft® Office (especially Word)
