Job Description

Key Role:

Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Ensure documents accurately communicate and address current practices, issues, and challenges experienced by the end user of the capability that is the subject of any given assignment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience with military and DoD Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and military strategic planning process
  • Experience with CDD packages, including key performance parameters (KPPs), Key System Attributes (KSA), and Ariel performance analysis system (APAs)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience with developing capability requirements generation and documentation

Additional Qualifications:

  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certifications in CLR 101, RQM 110, CLR 151, CLR 250, CLR 252, or RQM310
  • Experience as a combat developer or trained in force modification
  • Master's degree
  • 10+ years of experience with performing analytical and technical writing for military forces or any of its components
  • Graduate of Advanced Force Management Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
