Position Summary: The Technical Sales Representative 1 (TSR1) is a self-starter with highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills, works in a results-oriented environment with Federal customers/partners/distributors with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service to build lasting relationships and grow business.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Any other duties needed to drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Values.
  • Drive continued sales by checking customer purchasing history, suggesting new and related products, and explain technical features
  • Perform in a past fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Maintain all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information
  • Coordinate with Outside Sales Executives and Solutions Architects to create, design and sell effective solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments including order processing and supply chain
  • Must provide superior customer service
  • Work with management to determine pricing and margin based on industry knowledge and assessment of competitive landscape


Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • IT prospecting or sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An exceptional drive to succeed both as an individual and a team member
  • Government contract experience preferred
  • An ability to derive requirements via email, meetings, and conference calls
  • Target orientated; ambitious, creative, independent, self-motivated and customer focused
  • College/University Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year experience or more of the following:
  • CRM/Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Data-entry competency (40 WPM/10,000 KPH or better
  • Previous experience with Information Technology products and services is desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office and related software applications Microsoft Office Suite
