Job Description

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Project: State of CA

Location: REMOTE

Length: 10 month contract, possible extension

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Experience Identifying and communicating with key stakeholders to understand requirements for the solution
  • Experience maintaining scope, creating solutions by working with client SMEs, and facilitating sessions to work with SMEs to create design artifacts
  • Experience with Joint Application Development (or Design) JAD sessions

Plus:

  • Experience working on Financial / Tax oriented projects
  • Experience working on projects within the SLED space

Day to Day:

  • Responsible for all of the business tax calculations and designing notices that currently exist
  • Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
  • Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations
  • Liaise between various business departments and groups
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
