Team Specialist Jobs

As our client continues to grow, so too does the need for experienced multifamily lending professionals increase. At present, our client is seeking an insurance compliance expert that possesses considerable knowledge surrounding the servicing of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans. The ideal candidate will also possess a proven ability to continually improve processes and minimize errors, redundancy, and inefficiency.

This is a newly-created, critical role with high potential for advancement. In other words, as opposed to just another job, this is a genuine opportunity!

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure that insurance information is entered into both Fannie and Freddie's systems in an accurate, timely fashion.
• Collaborate and communicate with external partners e.g., borrowers, insurance agencies, etc.
• Play a lead role by preparing for and consistently performing any and all audits related to client's servicing insurance compliance. Report audit findings and make recommendations to servicing leadership team.
• Continually prepare and lead training programs to various members of the servicing division's insurance department. Assist with onboarding of new members of the insurance department.
• Consistently stay informed on all topics related to multifamily lending insurance compliance. Communicate any changes/updates to colleagues within the loan servicing department.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal partners e.g., asset managers, loan administration personnel, senior leaders, etc.

Qualifications

• Ability to present data in a cogent, professional manner.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to consistently produce high quality work.
• Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers, and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration preferred.
• Ability to be decisive and adaptable, quickly modifying approaches to accommodate changes in business direction.
• Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of insurance procedures, guidelines, documentation and terminology.
• Minimum of five (5) years of insurance compliance experience in commercial real estate and/or multifamily lending with a focus on GSE (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) products.
• A strong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting challenging deadlines, and achieving critical goals.
• Exceptional communication skills.
