TEAM MEMBER ROLE

The Buff City Soap Team Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience in our stores. This individual will be trained to deliver and sell by actively listening and suggesting appropriate products to our Guests. In addition, they are trained in the production of our unique plant-based soap and other products, allowing them to sell what they and their team make. Team Members are expected to uphold and ensure a positive and inclusive store culture for each other and our Guests.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Offer exceptional service by assessing Guests’ needs; provide assistance using Core 4 scripts as a guide.
• Follow cleaning, stocking and inventory compliance practices as requested
• Maintain a safe and clean work area, following all safety policies and guidelines
• Greet and assist each guest as they enter the store
• Ensure products are made efficiently and to company quality standards
• Other duties as assigned by appropriate leaders/owners
• Learn and continue to develop product knowledge
• Follow and achieve sales goals, informing Guests of Rewards programs and promotions
• Assist with the creation of product to maintain proper inventory levels
• Assist in marketing events as needed
• Follow all BCSMW policies and procedures, communicating with others as needed
• Process POS purchases, following cash handling policy and guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Part-time position,10-30 hours per week, based on the needs of the business
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel and crouch
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Dexterity of hands and fingers
• Willingness to undergo a background check
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances
• Must be 18 years of age or older

PAY

• $13.50 per hour

Monday – Thursday | 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

Friday & Saturday | 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Sunday | 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
