Teachers will be responsible for facilitating engaging and educational activities for students in an afterschool program based on the curriculum provided that covers the lesson lecture, homework, and homework answer key. The teacher will engage the class in a way that aligns with the program's objectives, ensuring a fun and enriching learning experience. The role involves creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering student engagement and participation, and being especially efficient. The Afterschool Enrichment Teacher will assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Collaboration with other staff members, parents, and school administrators is essential for effective program coordination. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to create engaging educational experiences!

Responsibilities

Teach an online class or classes for either math or English in grades 5-12 (separate class for each level) or math levels pre-algebra to calculus BC (separate class for each level). After each class, give a 4-sentence paragraph of feedback to each student in the class (up to 18 students). Be early to each lesson. Be motivational and energetic (the first 10 minutes of class is dedicated to motivating students about certain self-improvement topics related to academic performance). Be passionate about new ways of teaching (our distinguishing factor as a company).

Qualifications

Required: at least 2 years of experience in private tutoring

Preferably a bachelor's degree, master's degree, PhD, and/or an official teaching license

Skills required are the proper use of technology (writing lectures will have to be on an iPad or tablet)

Be motivational and energetic (the first 10 minutes of class is dedicated to motivating students about certain self-improvement topics related to academic performance)

Compensation

$60 dollars an hour. Each class is two hours a week for 36 weeks. Teachers deserve good pay for raising the next generation.
