JOB SUMMARY: The Systems Administrator provides 1st and 2nd level on-site support for daily computer operations in the division and including the studio and outlying sales offices. This position will also support homebuyers by conducting homebuyer training and tech support for smart appliances, door locks and home alarm systems. This position maintains the continuity of computer system services for internal computer users by providing technical expertise, assistance and project coordination necessary to install computer software products, modify/repair hardware and resolve technical problems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors success of tape backups, performs daily tape switching and provides offsite storage of tapes.
• Coordinates with customer service team and home alarm systems vendor to resolves claims.
• Resolves issues reported by the Help Desk and/or end users.
• Serves as a resource for home alarm systems on a as needed basis to answer questions on technical packages and upgrades and take appointments as needed basis for home alarm system purchases.
• Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when related to personal desktop computers.
• Coordinates warranty repair and other on-site service calls with outside vendors.
• Performs quality control on home alarm system installation during the construction cycle.
• Provides technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of computers and related software/hardware. Assists users with any computer related and/or other electronic equipment issues, e.g., cellular phones, copiers, postage meters, scanners, etc.
• Conducts Studio Homebuyer training, support and troubleshooting for smart appliances and door locks.
• Performs necessary computer requirements for opening, relocating and closing offices (including all field offices).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education/Certifications/Licenses

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience, preferably in a multisite environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Knowledge of computer system concepts and principles
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Basic understanding of IP networks and network printing
• Have a strong customer focus and be results driven
• Strong verbal & written communication

Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs
• Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
• Work 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessary

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
• Benefits: Employee benefits available for this position include health care (medical, dental and vision) benefits, a 401(k) employee savings plan with Company match, vacation pay, paid sick days, and a monthly mobile phone stipend
• Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000-90,000 per year depending on experience, paid semi-monthly.
