Job Description

:

Technical Skills -

  • Expert knowledge onAIXServer Administration (AIX7, Power Systems, LPAR, POWERVM)
  • Expert knowledge onAIXOS troubleshooting skills and tools
  • Experience in performance tuning and hardening ofAIXservers
  • Experience to upgrade firmware
  • Experience in Server Monitoring and configure Monitoring by using tool (HMC) as well as Industry Standard tools (SolarWinds).
  • Experience in patch management
  • Experience to migrate server from lower version of OS to latest version OS
  • Experience on HMC tool
  • Expert knowledge for capacity & performance management onAIXserver
  • Experience to install and maintain NIM Server, created Spot, LPP source and resource
  • Experience to work with Application Team to deploy software and application on server and release management
  • Experience in network and storage configuration onAIXServers
  • Experience to perform RCA and work with OEM to implement permanent solution
  • Experience in Incident Management and implement workaround to resolve incidents within SLA.
  • Experience toAIXOS installation, configuration, and maintenance

Process & Soft Skills:

  • ITIL Knowledge & Certification – Incident, Problem, Service Request, and Change Management.
  • Experience in documentation to build Operational and configuration documents
  • Exceptional communication Skills
  • Experience in vendor coordination and stakeholder management
