The North America Consumer (NAC) ACES Team is looking for a smart, motivated, and hard-working Salesforce Administrator to help implement and maintain a new Salesforce instance supporting NAC Retail teams. This is a high visibility project building a net-new Salesforce instance for one of Amazon's largest businesses. In this role you will help define the long-term vision of how NAC Retail can use Salesforce to improve productivity and operate more efficiently. You will use your business judgement and technical experience to design and build compelling new products for thousands of internal customers in a fast-paced and innovative environment.


Key job responsibilities


  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and SMEs to support major project roll-outs, including training and troubleshooting for end-users.
  • Own all technical aspects of the US Retail Salesforce instance such as integrations with internal tools, data quality, platform hygiene, systems configuration and maintenance, notification announcements, environment refresh, and AppExchange products.
  • Manage Salesforce support requests and any escalated administrative needs of users by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business support issues.
  • Partner with other system product owners to deliver tailored solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value.
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce in innovative ways to improve existing business processes, increase productivity, and support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
  • Manage configuration of new and existing Salesforce features including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflows, flows, process builders, and other 3rd party applications.


About The Team


NAC ACES is focused on improving the employee and vendor experience across Amazon's NAC Retail organization. We deliver tooling, process improvements, and BI solutions to remove manual work and improve efficiency. We make it easier for our vendors to work with Amazon by resolving major pain points and delivering programs to improve the vendor experience.


Basic Qualifications


  • Experience working with enterprise level Salesforce instance (1,500+ users)
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or similar mathematical/ scientific field
  • 3+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology


Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users, and managing UAT/deployment process
  • Experience with basic Salesforce API connections for Salesforce native apps (ex. Quip), AppExchange products, and data pipelines (ex. Informatica, S3)
  • 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application architecture coupled with a good understanding around the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
  • Verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Understanding of Scrum, Agile, and CI/CD development frameworks
  • 3+ years Salesforce Admin/Configuration experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM-211) or Developer (DEV-401) Certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
