Who You Are

As the SVP of Learning Products, you are responsible and accountable for the strategic and operational direction of ACE’s product portfolio. You will review ACE’s products and create a three-year product roadmap that addresses budget, resource, personnel, and technology requirements. In addition, you will be responsible and accountable for implementing the product roadmap, including creating project plans, completing tasks, and ensuring cross-functional and/or matrix teams hit launch dates while staying within budget. You will play a critical role in understanding the needs of our students and partners, as well as the changing landscape of higher education, and creating strategies to increase market share with innovative educational product solutions.


Compensation

ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high quality, affordable programs for our students. The starting salary range for this position is $150,000, plus all full time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education, prior experience, and expertise being applied to the role.

Day to Day Responsibilities



In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:

  • Partners with Marketing to appropriately position and communicate ACE’s products in the market and communicates value proposition by content vertical and offering in a manner that resonates with the customer.
  • Serves as liaison with other departments including the Curriculum Production, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing to ensure timelines are met for launching new academic products.
  • Researches opportunities in the market to partner with content providers, UI/UX learning products, and other solutions to enhance the student learning experience.
  • Creates a strategy for degree and non-degree product offerings that considers modality, content source, course instruction, and technology considerations.
  • Leverages feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, faculty, staff, advisory boards, regulatory agencies, school districts, healthcare centers, community colleges, and other organizations to inform the product strategy.
  • Creates and implements an innovative, forward-looking product strategy that aligns to the overall business goals and market demands.
  • Creates custom product solutions, based on feedback from multiple stakeholders, to address workforce needs and close the skills gap in high-demand industries such as healthcare, nursing, education, and business.
  • Ensures our product offerings and program portfolio meets the needs of our students and partners.
  • Partner with Finance and Marketing regarding product pricing.
  • Partners with the partnership development teams and executive leaders to establish mutually agreed-upon timelines and budgets for developing products.
  • Supports partnership development efforts by engaging with potential partners and brainstorming creative solutions to meet their needs.
  • Defines and documents student pathways with a focus on seamless transitions between product offerings to support career progression.
  • Gains a deep understanding of customer experience, identifies and fills product gaps, and generates new ideas that grow market share, improves customer experience, and drives growth.
  • Understands the students’ experience in the classroom and with integrated learning technology systems and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to support student learning.
  • Partners with student-facing staff, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Academics to provide academic content to support the development of product training programs.
  • Understands key performance data and focus on improving product-related metrics.
  • Partner with the Education and Healthcare solutions team to solicit and incorporate feedback from partners.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A proven track record of innovation in education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in program or product development.
  • A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience.
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree (MBA preferred) is required.
